First Presentation - Hang Methods, Hook/Rack Cleaning and Line Density

Dan Nesper with Dubois/AFR division- Dan will discuss paint hook options, functionality and paint stripping considerations. Discussions on the most basic wire hook, multi-racking and even engineered fixtures and how to justify new tooling and how proper tooling can add to your bottom line. Case studies and shared examples where good choices get huge results and reduce overall cleaning costs, reduce floor space, add to productivity and ergonomics. In addition, paint stripping considerations that should be considered when designing carriers for tooling and finished goods. Quite often these basic needs are an afterthought but can be the most crucial keys to successfully operating an efficient and cost-effective finishing system.

Second Presentation - E-Coat Prime / Powder or Liquid Top Coat - A First Class Combination

Joe Laubenthal with TTX-E-Coat Prime / Powder or Liquid Top Coat - A First Class Combination This session will review design considerations for E-Coat Prime/Top Coat Systems. Attendees will gain 📷understanding of major system components and learn the principles of system layout for optimal process flow. Acquire a deeper expertise in the purchase of capital equipment and see significant gains in efficiency and long-term production.

Joe Laubenthal Bio: Joe Laubenthal, Sales Engineer at TTX, has 30 years’ experience in design, sales, and manufacturing of paint finishing systems. Joe served as president and is a board member of the Chemical Coaters Association International - Northern Illinois Chapter. He is a member of The Electrocoat Association and National Association of Sales Professionals. Joe is an experienced speaker, presenter, and patented inventor.
