James F Wright Scholarship

The 2024 application period for the CCAI Wisconsin Scholarship program is OPEN.

  • Resume

  • Official Transcripts

  • Academic Reference Letter

  • Essay (can upload or type as you go)

​

The Wisconsin Chapter of CCAI awards monetary scholarships to individuals that are studying finishing related fields including Chemistry, Environmental Studies, Business Administration and Engineering among others to promote interest and awareness of career opportunities in the finishing industry.

​

The Wisconsin chapter of CCAI will be awarding three named scholarships:

  • The James F. Wright Memorial Scholarship

  • The Dave J. Wright Memorial Scholarship

  • The James (Jim) Steffes Memorial Scholarship

​

We will also be awarding several general scholarships. Last year’s scholarship awards ranged from $500 to $2,000 for a total of $12,000.

​

The James Steffes Annual Golf Outing event serves as the primary fundraiser for our James F. Wright Scholarship program. It will take place on July 19, 2024.

​

This opportunity is open to those attending technical schools or college and people in the industry that are going back to school to advance their education.

The scholarship competition is open to:

  • Only current residents of the state of Wisconsin or attending school in Wisconsin are eligible.

  • Current Wisconsin CCAI Members, or on the recommendation of a current member.

  • Family members or dependents of current Wisconsin CCAI Members.

    • If not a CCAI WI member or a dependent of current CCAI WI member, applicant must be enrolled in or studying finishing related fields including Chemistry, Environmental Studies, Business Administration and Engineering.​

  • Employees of companies that are current CCAI Corporate Members or current  members of CCAI Wisconsin End User Chapter Membership.

  • Applicants without a CCAI WI member sponsor or employed by a member company will be considered if field of study is relevant to the mission of our organization.

Applications are to be submitted by April 30th, 2024. The scholarship committee will review the applications and notify the winners by June 7th, 2024.

 

Recipients will be awarded the scholarship checks at the Golf Outing in July and are requested to attend.

​
